About Us
Artesia Gardens provides the highest level of care with a warm and personal touch under the direction of qualified, licensed professionals.
Artesia Gardens is a unique residential care facility for 55 elderly individuals requiring assisted living due to Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
We offer a warm homelike atmosphere and secured environment for those residents who wander. Interiors are homey, intended to create a sense of familiarity and well-being.
All rooms are kept clean and fresh smelling. Indoor and outdoor activities are all year-round.
Conveniently located, family owned for more than 20 years, Artesia Gardens provides quality, affordable care and 24 hour supervision.
Artesia Gardens is the perfect alternative to premature nursing home placement for only half of the cost.

Our home is a one story building offering spacious rooms, large recreational areas, secured shaded patios and walking paths in a garden setting. Meals are enjoyed in a cozy dinning area that resembles a small café. |

Our trained staff is devoted to helping the residents maintain their dignity and quality of life. The caregivers are involved in ongoing training including philosophy of care, behavioral management and effective communication. Many of our caregivers have been with us for over 10 years and understand the special needs of those with Alzheimer’s and related dementias. |

Our philosophy is to help the residents maintain as active a lifestyle as possible. We focus on what our residents can still accomplish and help them develop their abilities and interests to the fullest extent. The most important issues that we have to deal with are the changing of behavior that comes with |
individuals with dementia and related illnesses. The presence or absence of these behaviors can vary greatly from one person to another throughout the progression of this illness. We as caregivers will pay close attention and work with our health care professionals to maintain their stability. We are always vigilant to understand why the person is behaving in a particular way and what may be causing or triggering different behavioral changes.
Our pledge to our family members is that we watch these signs and stay vigilant on nutrition, medication and other therapies.
One thing we do know from first hand experience: medium size facility like ours is by far the best environment for our aging seniors. Our month-to-month fees are very reasonable and all-inclusive. There is no long-term contract to sign. |
